FAQs & Policies

Where are you located?

The office is located uptown at 4932 Prytania Street, Suite 201 A, New Orleans, LA 70115. Please note that we are on the second floor, and there is no elevator, so you must be able to climb a flight of stairs to access the space. Street parking is typically available on the surrounding streets.

Is there anything I should know before my first session?

  • Please check the list of contraindications below before booking.

  • During booking, you will be asked a series of health intake questions. Please answer all questions to the best of your ability at that time to ensure a smooth check in process.

  • You will be asked for a credit card to book your session. You will not be charged until your session is complete, unless you choose to pay by card ahead of time. Payments may be made by credit card, cash (exact change), or Venmo. The session price is all-inclusive so gratuity is not necessary.

  • Avoid eating a large meal within one hour of your session. A light snack beforehand can be a good idea.

  • Please arrive 5 minutes early so we can settle in without rushing. You’ll ring the doorbell A and I’ll come down to let you in. If you arrive late, I’ll do my best to accommodate you with the remaining time, but sessions cannot be extended in fairness to other clients.

  • Thai Yoga Therapy is performed fully clothed on a firm mat on the floor. It’s best to wear loose, comfortable, or athletic clothing, free of snaps, zippers, and buttons (something you can be stretched in that keeps you properly covered).

  • Rather than concentrating on a single area, each session follows a traditional, flowing sequence that addresses the entire body. This holistic approach helps to restore balance, improve energy flow, and create a sense of openness and space throughout the body.

  • If you are under the age of 18, a signed parental consent form and parental supervision during the session is required.

What is your cancellation policy?

I kindly ask that any cancellations be made at least 48 hours prior to your appointment so the time can be offered to another client.

Please note, cancellations made within 24 hours of your session, as well as no-shows, will be charged the full session fee.
