About the Practice
Thai Yoga Therapy, or Thai Massage Therapy, is an ancient healing art that blends passive stretching, rhythmic compression, energy line work, and mindful breath awareness. Rooted in both Ayurvedic and Buddhist traditions, the practice is deeply therapeutic, aiming to restore balance in the body, calm the nervous system, and support the natural flow of energy.
My approach to Thai Yoga Therapy is restorative, meditative, and intuitive. Sessions are grounded in the principles of metta (loving-kindness) and are designed to meet you exactly where you are. Rather than working toward intensity or pushing limits, we focus on creating space, stillness, and softness in the body. Rather than focusing on one problem spot, we move through a flowing sequence that aims to create space in the whole body.
This practice is not just physical, it invites a deep internal quiet. Through gentle movement and sustained holds, we support the release of tension, emotional holding, and energetic stagnation. Breath is our guide, and each session becomes a moving meditation that reconnects you with your body’s natural intelligence and capacity to heal.
Whether you're seeking relief from chronic tension, looking to support your emotional well-being, or simply needing a pause from the busyness of life, Thai Yoga Nola offers a space to slow down and be supported.
